Crocosaurus Cove

Crocosaurus Cove

Crocosaurus Cove, near Darwin’s city centre, claims to offer the world’s greatest display of Australian reptiles. In the “Cage of Death,” visitors can come face to face with a ferocious saltwater crocodile. If that’s too frightening, you may always feed the crocs, hold a squeaking baby croc, visit the aquarium to see the barramundi and sawfish, or visit the Top End Turtle Billabong. For those who can’t get out into the real woods, this urban wildlife excursion is a must-see.
